2. Nature of the Assessment

The Dakota Property Protection Assessment is an educational review only. It is not a certified building inspection, fire inspection, environmental assessment, medical evaluation, or security audit. The findings and recommendations provided are informational in nature and do not constitute professional engineering, legal, or regulatory advice. You should consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on assessment results.

3. Booking and Cancellation

When you book an assessment through our Site, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Be present or have an authorized adult present at the property during the assessment
• Notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule assessments due to technician availability, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as possible in such cases.

4. Pricing

The standard assessment fee is $199 CAD unless otherwise specified through an authorized partner referral program. All prices are in Canadian dollars and are subject to applicable taxes. Pricing is subject to change without notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, images, logos, graphics, and the Property Protection Report format — is the property of Dakota Property Protection and is protected by applicable Canadian copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dakota Property Protection shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our services, including but not limited to reliance on assessment findings. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the assessment in question.
